Chango Spasiuk Quartet
An unforgettable concert evening with modern Argentinean folk and world music from the Chango Spasiuk Quartet awaits you at the opening of the Third International Tango and Music Festival Hannover!
The Chango Spasiuk Quartet plays a unique mix of sensitive sounds and graceful rhythms, improvisation and composition, while remaining simultaneously traditional and modern. And it’s not only the intensive sounds that push the boundaries. Spasiuk is an extraordinarily expressive performer, a man possessed. But his somewhat immersed presence on stage demonstrates both the typical Argentinean melancholy and an indestructible level of optimism.
A great artist, a virtuouso talent. Simultaneously nostalgic and strikingly contemporary. Quite a special musical gem for the opening party of TANGO IMPULS 2011.
TANGO IMPULS presents tango in all its cultural forms
TANGO IMPULS brings Argentinian flair to Hanover. In addition to the night time tango experiences there will also be first class concerts, art exhibitions, recent Argentinian literature, film highlights and more. In numerous workshops for absolute beginners to experienced members of the public and master classes for (prospective) professionals, participants can rise to their musical or dancing challenge or fine tune their work. TANGO IMPULS is offering tuition with the world stars of tango over the final three days of the festival. The Tango Café invites you to dance in a relaxed atmosphere on the two final afternoons of the festival, where the artists will also be special guests.
